Caroline Ward, Director

Cote D’Azur is Caroline’s first short documentary as director. The film is produced as part of a BBC scheme for emerging directors. Caroline is passionate about film archives and has worked at the British Film Institute and trained at the FIAF L’Immagine Ritrovata film restoration and conservation laboratory in Bologna. She has degrees in Fine Art and Film Studies.

Caroline works at the BBC as assistant producer in Learning. She is currently working on the Broadcast campaign, Britain in a Day which aims to capture a portrait of British life.

As part of cc Media, Caroline produces content for cultural organisations and festivals e.g. ICA, BFI, A-Foundation, Tate and Liverpool Biennale.

Erinma Ochu, Writer

Cote D’Azur is Erinma’s fourth short film. Past films include In Memoriam which she wrote and produced as part of the UK Film Council Digital Shorts scheme. In Memoriam was highly commended by Turner Classic Shorts and nominated for a TAPS Short Film Award. Her short screenplay, Wrapped, was also nominated for a TAPS Short Script Award. She is currently writing three feature films and was recently selected for Vision and Media’s Drafted Screenwriting development programme and the SOS european programme to develop them further. She has past experience as executive producer at London Film, B3 Media, working on over 24 short films as part of the award winning short film scheme, Blank Slate funded by the UK Film Council and Arts Council England.

Kevin Logan, Sound Designer

Kevin Logan is Manchester born, graduating with a degree in Fine Art from Liverpool John Moores University in 1993, and in 1999 gained an MA in Multimedia Art from LJMU. He is currently based in London.

Following his post graduate study he began to concentrate on audio art and sound design for short films, which have screened in competition at Edinburgh International Film Festival 2003, Rotterdam International Film Festival 2004 and led to gaining a place at the 2nd Berlinale Talent Campus 2004, Berlin.

In 2007 he took part in a development week, which brought together visual, spoken word, and audio artists.This development week led to the commissioning of the video work ‘Recitation’ by B3.Media for the identities.tv project.‘Recitation’ has since been screened at over a 44 international festivals, including – Amsterdam Film Experience Festival 2007, Transmediale ’08, Berlin and Moscow International Film Festival 2008.
In August 2008 he completed a two week sonic art residency in Belgium and Holland as part of European Sound Delta.

He has recently had work included in various international and web based sonic art exhibitions. These include the exhibition ‘Sounding Door’ at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, Vilnius and a sound piece on the compilation CD ‘Soundtrack to a catastrophic world’ , which premiered at MANIF D’ART, the Qebec Biennial as part of the sound installation at Le Cerle, 1 May – 30 June 2010.
In July this year he performed the sound piece ‘DJ Pedagog’ at Foundation B.a.d , Rotterdam.

Sarah Hodgetts, Camera

Sarah studied sound engineering and by way of theatre and events she became a Technician for self-op productions at the BBC. Sarah has BBC broadcast credits and directs and produces both short films and documentaries.
